New drug combo shows promise for tough breast cancer

Summary

This study tests a new drug called CFI-402257 combined with the standard chemotherapy paclitaxel for women with advanced HER2-negative breast cancer that cannot be cured. The goal is to see if the combination works better than paclitaxel alone at shrinking tumors or slowing the disease. About 37 participants will take part in two phases to find the best dose and measure response.
