Can an ultrasound predict radiation success in sarcoma?

NCT ID NCT07436364

First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This early study is testing whether contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) can help doctors see how soft tissue sarcomas respond to radiation therapy before surgery. Ten adults scheduled for radiation will get three CEUS scans to measure tumor blood flow and pressure. The goal is to see if this imaging method can predict treatment response better than standard scans.
