First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special ultrasound dye can help brain surgeons tell the difference between tumor tissue and normal brain during glioma surgery. The goal is to remove as much tumor as safely possible. About 100 adults with suspected or recurrent glioma will take part. The study is in its earliest phase and focuses on improving visualization, not on curing the disease.
