New study aims to stop cervical Pre-Cancer from coming back in HIV-Positive women

Summary

This study follows 250 women living with HIV in Zimbabwe who have been treated for cervical pre-cancer. Researchers want to find out how often the disease returns and which tests best predict that return. Participants will have regular check-ups and tests every six months for two years. The goal is to create better guidelines for monitoring these women after treatment.
