New approach aims to make cervical cancer checks more effective

NCT ID NCT06669533

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called misoprostol can help doctors get a better view of the cervix during cancer screening. It involves 420 women who have a cervix that is typically hard to see during exams. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the medication or a placebo pill to see if it makes the screening process more successful.
