Could a common drug make cervical cancer screening more effective?

NCT ID NCT06669533

Summary

This study is testing if a medication called misoprostol can help doctors get a better view of the cervix during cancer screening exams. It will involve 420 women who have a cervix that is difficult to examine fully. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo pill before their screening to see if it improves the exam.
