Brain zapping study aims to speed up thinking in psychosis
NCT ID NCT06107764
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a non-invasive magnetic stimulation technique can improve how quickly people with psychotic disorders (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder) solve challenging tasks. About 95 participants will do thinking exercises and get brain scans before and after the stimulation. The goal is to learn more about how the brain controls processing speed, not to provide a treatment.
