Summary
This study tested whether adding folic acid and vitamin B12 to locally made cereals could improve the health of teenage girls in rural Ethiopia. About 472 girls aged 13-19 took part. Researchers measured vitamin levels, growth, memory, and mood to see if the fortified food made a difference.
