Summary

This study looked at whether adding folic acid and vitamin B12 to locally made cereals can improve the nutrition, thinking skills, and mood of teenage girls in rural Ethiopia. About 472 girls aged 13-19 took part. The goal was to see if small-scale food fortification can help prevent deficiencies that affect growth, memory, and mental health.
