First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a daily pill called cenerimod in 15 Chinese adults (ages 18–75) with moderate-to-severe systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) who are already on standard treatments. The main goal is to check the drug's safety and how the body handles it over 12 months. Participants take one 4 mg tablet daily and attend regular check-ups for up to 22 months. This is an early-phase trial with no placebo group, so it focuses on safety and drug effects rather than proving the drug works.
