NCT ID NCT06871410
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new treatment for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to standard therapy. The treatment uses specially engineered immune cells (CD83 CAR T cells) designed to find and destroy leukemia cells while possibly avoiding severe side effects like graft-versus-host disease. The study will enroll 26 participants to evaluate safety, find the best dose, and look for signs that the leukemia shrinks or disappears.
