Scientists test supercharged immune cells against tough lung cancers
NCT ID NCT05681780
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing whether a patient's own immune cells, modified in a lab to be more powerful, can help fight advanced lung cancer when given alongside the immunotherapy drug nivolumab. The study is for adults with specific genetic changes in their lung cancer who have already tried at least one standard treatment. Researchers will primarily check if this combination treatment is safe and see if it shrinks tumors.
