Cannabis cream tested to soothe chemo Patients' painful hands and feet

NCT ID NCT05388058

Summary

This study tested whether a cream containing cannabidiol (CBD) could help relieve the pain, numbness, and tingling in the hands and feet caused by chemotherapy. Forty adult cancer survivors with this nerve pain applied either the CBD cream or a placebo cream for two weeks, then switched. The goal was to see if the CBD cream was safe and more effective than the placebo at reducing these difficult symptoms.
