New marking technique aims to sharpen breast cancer radiation

Summary
This study tests a new method for marking the area where breast cancer was removed during surgery. The goal is to help radiation doctors see the exact spot on scans, making radiotherapy more precise and reducing the need for repeat surgeries. About 50 adults with early-stage breast cancer or DCIS who are having breast-conserving surgery with reconstruction will take part.
