Promising combo aims to shrink bladder tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether giving a targeted drug (enfortumab vedotin) plus an immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) before surgery to remove part or all of the bladder can improve outcomes for people with advanced bladder or upper urinary tract cancer. About 75 adults with cancer that has spread to nearby tissues or other parts of the body will receive this standard-of-care combination, then undergo surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients are alive without their cancer getting worse one year after starting the study.
