This study looked at 129 people who had surgery to clear blocked neck arteries (carotid endarterectomy). Doctors compared two surgical methods: the eversion technique and the conventional method. They tracked strokes, deaths, and re-blockages within 30 days after surgery to see if one technique was safer.
