New online course aims to ease burden for black dementia caregivers

Summary
This study tested an online education program called 'Caregiving While Black' to help Black American caregivers feel more confident and less stressed while caring for a family member or friend with dementia. About 140 caregivers took part. The program focused on building skills and mastery, and researchers measured changes in caregivers' sense of control and well-being.
