New study aims to ease the burden on bone marrow transplant caregivers

Summary

This study tests a special support program (BMT-CARE) for people caring for a loved one undergoing a bone marrow transplant. The goal is to see if the program improves the caregiver's quality of life and reduces their stress. About 800 caregivers will take part, and their well-being will be compared to those receiving usual care.
