New online tool aims to ease financial burden for cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a web-based tool called CARE that gives cancer patients information about treatment costs, health insurance, and financial resources. About 430 adults with gynecologic, prostate, lung, or colorectal cancer will use the tool to see if it helps them feel more confident about managing costs and insurance. The goal is to find better ways to support patients facing financial challenges during cancer care.
