First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at how difficult childhood experiences impact the course of multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will work with 300 young adults with relapsing-remitting MS, most of whom are Black, Hispanic, or from low-income backgrounds. Participants will have MRI scans and blood tests to measure MS severity, and complete interviews about their life experiences. The goal is to understand social and environmental factors that affect MS outcomes in groups often left out of research.
