First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving home health aides extra training in dementia care can help reduce troubling behaviors in older adults with memory loss or dementia and improve quality of life for both patients and their care partners. About 120 patient-care partner pairs will take part. The goal is to see if better-trained aides make daily life easier and less stressful.
