Scientists hunt genetic clues to why some survive heart shock while others Don't
NCT ID NCT05728359
Summary
This study aims to understand why patients with cardiogenic shock (a severe form of heart failure) respond differently to treatments and have varying outcomes. Researchers will collect blood samples from 300 patients across Europe to analyze genetic patterns and immune system responses. The goal is to identify biological markers that could help predict outcomes and guide future treatment development.
