Heart rehab trial aims to ease chest pain and boost quality of life
NCT ID NCT05810051
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a supervised exercise and education program (cardiac rehabilitation) to standard medication helps people with coronary microvascular disease feel better. About 204 patients with chest pain and confirmed small vessel problems will be randomly assigned to receive either medication alone or medication plus a 36-session rehab program. The main goal is to see if the rehab program improves patients' quality of life and reduces their chest pain symptoms after 4 months.
