First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special gel containing carbon dioxide (carboxytherapy paste) can reduce redness and swelling after microneedling, a cosmetic procedure for facial aging. Twenty adults will receive the gel on one side of their face and a placebo on the other, then be monitored for side effects and skin improvement. The goal is to see if the gel shortens recovery time and improves patient satisfaction.
