First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested the chemotherapy drug carboplatin in 16 men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy. The cancer had specific gene changes that might make it sensitive to carboplatin. The goal was to see if the drug could shrink tumors or lower PSA levels, offering a new way to control the disease.
