Summary
This early-stage study tests two drugs, carfilzomib and belatacept, along with standard steroids and immune-suppressing medicines, to treat a type of kidney transplant rejection called antibody-mediated rejection. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can reduce harmful antibodies or improve kidney function. About 25 kidney transplant recipients with signs of rejection will be followed for one year.
