New 'Off-the-Shelf' cell therapy tested in patients with Hard-to-Treat blood cancers

NCT ID NCT04984356

Summary

This study tested the safety and early effectiveness of a new type of CAR-T cell therapy called WU-CART-007 in adults and adolescents with T-cell leukemia or lymphoma that has returned or not responded to previous treatments. The therapy uses genetically modified immune cells from a donor (not the patient) to target and attack cancer cells. Researchers aimed to find the safest and most effective dose for future studies.
