Engineered immune cells target Hard-to-Treat lung cancer in early trial

NCT ID NCT07116057

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a new treatment for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (FRa+ NSCLC) that has spread to the lining around the lungs. The therapy uses the patient's own immune cells, which are modified in a lab to recognize and attack cancer cells, then given as a single dose into the chest cavity. The main goals are to check if the treatment is safe and feasible, and to see if it can shrink tumors. Only 10 participants will be enrolled.
