Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new cell therapy called AZD0120 for adults with severe autoimmune diseases like systemic sclerosis, inflammatory muscle disease, or hard-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis. Doctors will collect a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to target specific markers (CD19 and BCMA), and infuse them back to potentially reduce harmful immune activity. The main goal is to find a safe dose and understand how the body handles the treatment before testing its effectiveness in larger studies.
