Summary
This early-phase study tested a combination of two drugs—capecitabine (a chemotherapy pill) and cemiplimab (an immunotherapy)—in 13 people with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer that had spread. The main goal was to find the safest dose and see if the combination helped shrink tumors. Results are not yet available, but the study provides initial safety data for this approach.
