Could cannabis ease the pain of PTSD therapy for veterans?
NCT ID NCT06222268
Summary
This study aims to see if using cannabis (marijuana) during a specific therapy helps veterans with PTSD feel less distress. Researchers will give either real cannabis or a placebo to 280 veterans right before their therapy sessions. They will measure PTSD symptoms, anxiety, and brain activity to learn if cannabis makes the therapy more effective or tolerable.
