Could cannabis ease the lingering pain of chemo?

NCT ID NCT06731894

Summary

This study is testing whether two compounds from the cannabis plant, CBD and a THC:CBD mix, can reduce chronic nerve pain caused by chemotherapy. The trial will involve 120 breast and colon cancer survivors who have finished treatment but still experience pain, tingling, or numbness. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either CBD, the THC:CBD mix, or a placebo for two months to see which is most effective at easing symptoms.
