Summary
This study aimed to find biological markers that could help predict which stomach or esophageal cancer patients might respond well to immunotherapy. Researchers collected fluid from surgical drains and blood samples from 10 patients who had cancer-removal surgery. They analyzed these samples in a lab to look for molecular clues linked to whether the cancer might return early or stay away.
