Phone calls aim to ease tough cancer care conversations

Summary
This study is testing whether telephone coaching sessions can help people with advanced cancer and their support person plan for future medical care. The coaching, called 'Talking About Cancer,' is designed to help participants discuss end-of-life wishes, manage the stress of these conversations, and complete important legal documents like living wills. Researchers will compare the coaching to simply receiving an informational brochure to see which approach works better.
