New combo therapy aims to wipe out early triple-negative breast cancer before surgery

NCT ID NCT07491822

First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug camrelizumab to chemotherapy and radiation before surgery can eliminate all signs of early-stage triple-negative breast cancer. About 43 women with newly diagnosed, untreated disease will receive the combination for 12 weeks, then have surgery. Those who still have cancer may get more chemo. The main goal is to see how many achieve a complete response (no cancer left at surgery).
