Summary
This study follows 830 cisgender and transgender women in Alabama to learn why some get HIV or sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and how to better prevent them. Participants must be HIV-negative, have had a recent STI, and own a smartphone. Researchers will track STI rates and use of PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV, to improve prevention programs.
