Blood test may predict sepsis survival
NCT ID NCT07285499
First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 276 adults with sepsis in the ICU to see if a score called the CALLY index—based on routine blood tests—can predict who is at higher risk of dying within 30 days. Researchers also checked if changes in this score relate to kidney problems. No new treatments were given; the study simply reviewed existing medical records.
