New hope for Crohn's patients with ileostomy: can AZD7798 repair the gut?

Summary
This study tests a new drug called AZD7798 in 30 adults with active Crohn's disease who have an ileostomy. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and helps heal the lining of the small intestine compared to a placebo. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a dummy treatment, and neither they nor their doctors will know which they received.
