Summary

This study looked at whether adding two widely available medicines (magnesium sulphate or nimodipine) to standard treatment could help people who intentionally poisoned themselves with certain insecticides. Over 1,700 adults were enrolled. The main goal was to see if these added drugs reduced the chance of dying before leaving the hospital.
