Summary
This study aimed to better understand CADASIL, a rare and fatal genetic disease that causes strokes, migraines, and dementia. Researchers observed 20 adults recently diagnosed with CADASIL over two years, performing various tests like brain scans, eye exams, and blood tests. The goal was to learn how the disease progresses and what happens in the body, not to test a new treatment.
