New drug shrinks kidney tumors before surgery in early trial

Summary
This study tests whether giving the drug cabozantinib before surgery can shrink tumors in people with locally advanced kidney cancer. About 22 participants will receive the drug for a short time before their operation. The goal is to see if this approach helps control the disease and improves long-term outcomes.
