Hands-On therapy vs home exercises: which works better for jaw pain?
NCT ID NCT07058311
Summary
This study tested two physical therapy approaches for people who grind their teeth (bruxism). Thirty young adults were randomly assigned to either do guided home exercises three times a week or receive hands-on manual therapy from a therapist twice a week for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in jaw and neck pain, muscle tightness, and jaw movement to see which approach was more helpful.
