First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at when to perform a bronchoscopic lung washout in children with severe pneumonia to help them recover faster. About 3,168 children will be enrolled to see if earlier or later treatment improves breathing, reduces hospital stay, and lowers costs. The goal is to create clear guidelines for doctors on the safest and most effective timing for this procedure.
