First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how often bronchiectasis (a lung condition that can cause breathing problems) occurs in people with primary humoral immunodeficiency, a type of immune system disorder. Researchers in France used CT scans and lung function tests on 46 adults to detect bronchiectasis and measure its severity. The goal was to better understand who might be at risk, since early detection could help prevent serious lung damage.
