First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at 250 adults with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) to see if ultrasound and stiffness measurements of the liver and spleen could predict dangerous blood pressure in the liver (portal hypertension). Participants had routine scans and blood tests during a single visit. The goal was to find non-invasive ways to detect liver complications early, without needing a biopsy or scope.
