Hot air treatment tested for severe asthma that drugs Can't control
NCT ID NCT07292805
Summary
This study is testing a procedure called bronchial thermoplasty for adults with severe asthma that isn't controlled by standard medications, including newer biologic drugs. The procedure uses gentle heat on the airways inside the lungs, aiming to reduce the frequency of serious asthma attacks and improve daily life. Researchers will compare the procedure to standard care to see if it's more effective and cost-effective over time.
