First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking a short, daily 5-minute bath in 113°F (45°C) water for two weeks can help the body adapt to heat. Twenty-six healthy adults took part. Researchers measured changes in body temperature, heart rate, and other signs to see if this quick method works as well as longer heat exposure. The goal is to find a more convenient way for people to get heat-acclimated.
