NCT ID NCT05618067

First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a breathing exercise program can improve symptoms and brain function in people with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Twelve adults with POTS will practice breathing exercises and have their brain activity and heart rate measured using fMRI and wearable devices. The goal is to see if better vagal nerve function changes how the brain controls symptoms like fatigue and dizziness.
