Simple breathing workout may ease rare lung condition
NCT ID NCT06931886
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether six weeks of special breathing exercises (called inspiratory muscle strength training) can improve heart and lung function in people with pulmonary hypertension, a condition where high blood pressure strains the heart and lungs. Four adults already scheduled for routine heart-lung tests will do the exercises and then repeat the tests to see if there is improvement. The goal is to learn if this simple, drug-free approach can help manage the disease.
