First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This small study tests whether six weeks of special breathing exercises (called inspiratory muscle strength training) can improve heart and lung function in people with pulmonary hypertension, a condition where blood pressure in the lungs is too high. Four participants will do the exercises and have their heart pressures and exercise ability measured. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can ease symptoms and improve daily life.
