Breathalyzer for breast cancer: a new hope for Non-Invasive detection?
NCT ID NCT06499077
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study explores whether a breath test can identify breast cancer. Researchers will analyze the breath of 1000 women (half with breast cancer, half healthy) using a high-tech mass spectrometer. The goal is to see if cancer produces a unique chemical signature in the breath, potentially leading to a simple, non-invasive screening tool.
